ComputeCO was founded in 1992 in Pensacola, Florida by Fred Luke. We started out as a computer software support company providing small businesses and home users with custom software solutions. We added computer training in 1994 as one of the first to offer classroom training on Windows and MS Office products.
Fred Luke spent 6 years as a computer programmer for the Navy before getting into network security in the early 1990s. He helped setup the Navy's Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT) in the mid-1990s, and has worked many facets of Computer Security since. Now a military instructor teaching Forensics and Computer Programming, he enjoys helping the community learn more about computer security and hopes to continue with his home business.
